Areas of fog and a thick cloud cover will be the main forecast elements overnight. A warm, moist air mass will sit over southern New England through this weekend resulting in lots of clouds and fog overnight and some breaks of hazy sunshine at times during the day. there will also be scattered showers popping up each of the next few afternoons...especially across areas well inland, north & west of Providence.

Memorial Day weekend looks unsettled as well but it appears as though the air will become even warmer with highs in the 80s Saturday and possibly in the lower 80s over inland areas Sunday & Monday as well. A warm front will sit over the area with the possibility of scattered showers Sunday & Monday but it is too early right now to say for certain.
